The Reformatory

A boy in Jim Crow South confronts a horror that won't stay on the other side of the grave. Terrifying — and deeply human. Robert Stephens Jr. is sent to a reform school in Jim Crow Florida, where cruelty is frighteningly real. The supernatural elements deepen an already devastating story about survival and injustice. An atmospheric pick for readers who like creeping unease, unsettling secrets, and the feeling that something is just beyond the door.
